The site is essentially a hobby enterprise at present; if interest warrants, we will begin to offer more commercial options. 

I started Bassoon.org in the late 90's because it was really difficult to find anything bassoon-related on the Internet.  In the ensuing decade, the search engines have improved and the number of double reed sites has increased; however it's still often difficult to know where to look among the thousands of results from a search.  We often receive emails from users pointing out interesting sites with new products and information, which we can point to as a service to the bassoon community.  If you have suggestions for improving the service that Bassoon.org provides, we'd enjoy from you.

which will translate all pages into Spanish, Portuguese, German or Italian, as well as translate simple documents among those languages.
